Raba Solar Park

Raba Solar Park

Luuri, Estonia

Utility

Raba Solar Park is a 45 MW utility-scale solar project in Estonia developed and delivered entirely by Trinasolar. Built using our high-performance Vertex dual-glass bifacial modules and the FixOrigin fixed-structure mounting system, the project reflects a fully integrated approach to solar deployment—offering seamless compatibility, faster installation, and long-term performance, even in harsh northern climates.

The site, located on clay-rich agricultural land with fluctuating groundwater levels, required extensive geotechnical planning. Trinasolar’s engineering team developed a customized foundation design tailored to the site’s winter conditions, including snow loads and frost risk, ensuring structural stability and durability.

Despite challenging terrain and adverse weather, efficient logistics and sourcing from TrinaTracker’s European manufacturing base allowed for smooth delivery and installation. Local procurement and on-site engineering oversight ensured the project remained on schedule and maintained the highest quality standards.

Raba Solar Park generates enough clean electricity to power 28,000 homes, avoiding over 90,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Through careful engineering, localized support, and strong logistical planning, it serves as a benchmark for efficient, sustainable solar development in the Baltics.
